Home security products abound and it’s a snap to comparison shop and order online.

You can choose from home security air gun pistols and products, animal repellents, blowguns, bug detectors, diversion safes, metal detectors, pepper sprays, personal alarms, safety lights, stun flashlights, guns and batons, and tasers. The home security products dedicated to surveillance include antennas, cables and connectors, cameras and camera parts and accessories, monitors, quads and multiplexers, recorders, transmitters and receivers.

Air Guns, while styled to appear like a standard firearm are scaled the same as the real thing and easy to use. They are required by U.S. federal legislation however, to have the bright orange tip that designates they are not true firearms. To use your air gun, you merely pull the slide back, which charges the gun’s firing system. Then you just aim and pull the trigger. Air guns must, however, be cocked by hand for each shot.

Stun batons, flashlights and guns are home security products made to momentarily disable an intruder or attacker. They are great self-defense products. Your attacker can be rendered harmless with little exertion from you. They are ideal home security products for smaller adults, such as women and smaller men.

Taser guns are the newest in home security products and work much like stun products. When you fire your taser gun, it sends compressed nitrogen through the gun, projecting two probes a 15 foot length at up to 135 feet each second. The taser gives off an electrical signal, which is transmitted upon connection with the intended victim. Your attacker instantly loses all control of neuromuscular functions and can’t coordinate his or her bodily actions.
